Ken Dunkin has voted for higher income taxes¹ and voted against repealing the Cook County sales tax increase² that makes sales taxes for residents of the 5^th District the highest in the nation. The Tribune noted that Schroeder’s opponent, incumbent Ken Dunkin, was a defender of impeached ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich and that Dunkin missed the impeachment vote.  “Voters don’t have to put up with that,” the Tribune wrote.
